Ways to pay

By card — Visa, Mastercard or Meeza, through SuperPay. Your card number never reaches us. Card payments are made in Egyptian pounds (see Currency below). Checkout adds a 3% card fee on its own line before you pay; cash on arrival has no fee.

Cash on arrival — offered on most day tours and transfers. Hand it to your guide or driver when the service starts, in USD, EUR, GBP or EGP.

Currency

Your contract is in US dollars. Every other currency on the site is a live conversion, shown to help you.

Cards are charged in Egyptian pounds, because that is the currency our payment provider settles in; the amount is your dollar total at the rate checkout shows. Your booking is held at the dollar figure, and your bank may apply its own rate or a foreign transaction fee to the pounds.

Checking the price

When you pay, our servers work the price out again from scratch — option, number of travellers, extras, coupon and any seasonal supplement. If the result is not what you were shown, we hold the order and contact you before charging anything.

Keeping it secure

Every page is served over HTTPS. Card details go from your browser straight to the payment processor and never pass through our servers; we keep no card numbers, expiry dates or security codes.

Receipts and invoices

Your receipt is emailed as soon as you pay. For a company tax invoice, send your booking reference and company details to info@egyptcitytrip.com and you will have it within one working day.

Refunds

Card refunds go back to the card within 5 to 10 working days. Cash payments are refunded by bank transfer to the account you give us.
